Hello all!
I am, unfortunately, recovering from what appears to be an overdose of lactose.
This past weekend I had the pleasure of spending an entire day on a dairy farm in central Washington. I learned to: draw blood from a cow's tail vein, perform a rectal palpation (found that cow's cervix!), and I honed my jugular drawing skills as well as my necropsy skills.
Ah the life of a vet student.
However...I also ate perhaps one too many goat cheese sandwiches and thus spent my entire sunday curled in the fetal position, swearing off dairy for the rest of my life (and secretly hoping that's all it was, and not some obscure cow-human disease that would kill me!)
So I am fine now, and I did have yogurt today, so my dairy hiatus was brief.
{I also had a taco bell run with the girls last night...oops}
Anywho, here's a pic of me "vetting" it up! Go Vets!
ta ta for now!
