in with the new!!

Through some careful self-reflection I have decided my original "new year's resolution" was far to strenuous and entirely impractical for a 2nd (soon to be 3rd) year vet student.

So I've come up with a new resolution instead! But this is a life resolution:

learn {one} new skill/craft every year.

2012's craft: knitting!

This is literally nothing. I pretend it's a knitted "caterpillar", but we all know that's a lie.

I am really terrible at knitting-but I taught myself, and I started yesterday.

My current "project" is so dysfunctional and really, honestly ugly. But...I LOVE it.

Eventually I will have C help me and show me what I'm doing wrong, but for now I'm perfectly delighted to just practice.
